How to Make a Startup Successful

So, you’re thinking of creating your own company, eh? Nothing like being your own boss, right? Nevermind the back-breaking work you have to do, the quizzing glances you’d be taking from people who doesn’t know better. Forget the long hours you have to put in during the first few years of operation… because it is yours! You own the company, and because of that you have to make it successful, so how do we do it? Do the following steps, that’s how.

  1. Be the only Founder

    Who needs other people anyway, right? You thought of this idea alone and you’d pursue this idea alone! Who cares if people think that none of your friends trust that you and your idea will be successful? It’s ok! You can do it all by yourself, decisions and such are such a pain if you have to argue with people all the time just to get to a conclusion.

    It’s better to be alone even if all of the successful companies have more than one founder, you’ll definitely make it to history books (of successful businesses at least) if you’re able to make it alone, right? Right?! That’s perfect! Definitely be on your own.

  2. Don’t Bother Looking for the Best Location

    It’s probably a waste of time anyway. If you put your company in a location where there are a lot of startups, won’t that only accelerate you business’ fall? Sure, the standards are higher; that’s where almost all of the experts are; people are more sympathetic to what you’re doing; the kind of people you want to hire want to live there; supporting industries are there; the people you run into in chance meetings are in the same business. But who can actually guarantee that this will be able to help your company prosper and actually beat your largest competitor in the long run? A lot of people actually, but that’s not the point! The centers of each industry is too crowded a place for you to even squeeze into it. Got it?
